Through our work over the years, we have seen that life at the grassroots is starkly different. We aim to bring about equality, balance and equanimity at all levels.
The growth and development of the rural population are key to overall growth and inclusive development of the country.
Rural economy constitutes 46% of national income, and despite the rise of urbanisation, more than half of India’s population is projected to be rural by 2050.* But the rural economy is left wanting on several fronts. If the divide is not addressed urgently, it may never get bridged. The change has to start at the hotbed, the roots. That is why Samta Foundation is passionate about bringing about change, where it matters the most.
Our Vision
Making rural and tribal communities healthy, literate and self-reliant; and working with prisoners to improve their quality of life
Our Mission
Ensure that aid reaches exactly where, when and how it is needed and create value for our society by applying real-world solutions
Our Core Values
EQUALITY
We see our work as an opportunity to serve our beneficiaries, treating them as equals at all times. We stand shoulder to shoulder with them to address their needs. Every person in our work cycle is a crucial link and is treated as an equal contributor to our work.
BALANCE
By working with rural and tribal communities to make them healthy, literate and self-reliant, our ultimate vision is to restore social balance, equanimity and parity.
RESPONSIBILITY
Our strength lies in efficient planning and consistent execution to ensure complete responsibility of each initiative we undertake. We plan programs from grassroots level upwards, working with Government systems. This ensures full life-cycle management across our initiatives, bridging gaps and achieving equanimity as we go along.
Over the years, pursuing our noble intentions consistently and working hands-on with an inspired team have enabled us to work wonders.
